$1,000 a month, with a 12-month commitment. Your gift is assigned to one specific bed.

Your bed stays ready

Staffed, stocked and open every day, for a toddler with malaria or a baby who needs to regain strength.

Every month, a story from your bed: the children it held and how they're doing now.

In Liberia, 1 in 12 children dies before turning five.

In the U.S., it's about 1 in 150.

Why the beds exist

What takes children's lives in Liberia is rarely the absence of a cure. It's the distance to one.

In 2019, we met Theresa at a small bush clinic in rural Liberia. By the time the long drive to ELWA Hospital was over, it was too late. The malaria had reached her brain.

We never forgot Theresa. The Jesus Loves Me Children's Center exists so the next child doesn't have to travel that far.

What your gift provides

$1,000 a month keeps one bed ready.

  • Life-saving medicine for malaria, malnutrition, TB, HIV and other diseases
  • A safe, clean place to heal, so no child is turned away
  • Liberian nurses and doctors on shift through the night

How long is a bed sponsorship?

We ask for a 12-month commitment at $1,000 a month, so your bed is funded all year.

Can a church, business or group sponsor a bed?

Yes. Bed Sponsors include churches, businesses and families.

What will I hear from my bed?

Each month you'll get a story from your bed: a child who was admitted, what they came in with and how they're doing now.

Is my gift tax-deductible?
