About LIVE2540

Love for Liberia's children, in Jesus' name.

We exist to provide free, quality and compassionate healthcare to Liberia's most vulnerable children. We do it through the Jesus Loves Me Children's Center, with 177 Liberian staff and a community of people who give.

Our story

It all began with 67 children.

In 2008, Daryl Roberts of Cartersville, Georgia, went to Liberia on a mission trip and met 67 children living in an orphanage in Bong County. They were hungry and sick. Before he flew home, he called his wife, Chrissy, and she started raising support. That was the beginning of Orphan Aid Liberia.

For years we fed children, cared for them and walked with families. And we kept seeing children lose their lives to things that can be treated, like malaria and malnutrition. So in 2020 we changed our name to LIVE2540 and turned our focus to healthcare. In 2024, the Jesus Loves Me Children's Center opened its doors.

“Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
